MISSION  STATEMENT

We are Women, of all ages, who have chosen to share our path to wholeness and well being, honoring all that is spectacular and creative in each one of us.

We affirm ourselves and acknowledge our strengths and weaknesses with Love and Compassion for one another. We support each other in facing our life challenges and adventures, and remind each other of the joy and excitement to be found in growing and learning together.

We work independently of each other, confronting and healing our individual issues, and are willing to enter into the places of darkness inside ourselves, to shed Light where fear and doubt reside. We free ourselves from self imposed guilt and judgment. We, as a group, move forward towards the same goal of wholeness, multidimensional understanding, compassion and happiness. We consciously and actively are creating the realities and lives we wish to live, and the kind of world we wish to live them in. We are always conscious of the Legacy which we wish to pass on to our future generations.

To Further Clarify what we do at Girl's Night:

We often use spiritual practices to help us learn to stay in the NOW moment in a time where Time itself seems to be our enemy, to become centered in a world full of chaos, find compassion within ourselves in a time of harsh judgment, and to embrace love and peace in a world filled with hate and violence.

We incorporate practices from Celtic, Native American, Christianity, Judaism, Hindu, Asian, and  as well as blends of all of these to create our own ceremonies that embody who we are and help us to become all that we can be. We intend no insult to anyone by combining these practices. All religious practices are equal and beautiful in our eyes and all have the same goals. We are basically laid back solitary practitioners, of whatever religion we choose to practice, enjoying sharing our spirituality, our womanhood, our laughter and our individuality together. We think that it is our differences, religious and personal, that make our group so great. We have only 1 rule: No petty politics! Life is hard enough and Girl's Night is our safe haven where we come to restore our spirits. If 2 people differ strongly, or rub each other the wrong way (and this has not happened yet) we celebrate our differences, thank each other for a new way of seeing, ponder the possibilities and how that is a reflection for us, and move on. Our group is about being who you are... no judgment... no guilt...only truth and light.

We believe that accessing our creative selves, the part of each one of us that paints, draws, sews, dances, sings, cooks, brainstorms ideas, parents children, or however we create, is the path straight to our own hearts and our true selves. We embrace new ideas and creatively explore new concepts. We partake in being creative as often as we can. Sometimes this may mean that smaller groups of common interests spin off and agree to meet separately. Others times this will incorporate things that we can all share together.

Many ancient native prophecies teach that it will be Women who will bring this planet to a place of Peace and Harmony. We believe this and intend to be a part of that movement in any way that we can, be it big or small. This does not exclude all the good men out there working for the same goal! We need everyone's participation!!

Only as high as I reach can I grow,

Only as far as I seek can I go,

Only as deep as I look can I see,

Only as much as I dream can I be.

Remember that what you own today, what you do for work, where you live, how much money you have or who you know means NOTHING. No one will remember these things when you are gone. What Good you do with your life and what you teach your children, these things are important, for these will go on for generations.

THE FOUR AGREEMENTS

Be impeccable to your Word. Choose your words with intent and care.

Don't take anything personally! It's never about you!

Don't Assume anything! This usually leads to disaster!

Always do your very best. What more is there to say?

"All truth passes through 3 stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

~ Arthur Schopenhauer
